Elected Officials

 THADDEUS (Ted) J. KEDZIERSKI began serving as a Member of the City Council in April of 2009 and our Mayor in November of 2011.  Ted is a Certified Public Accountant and Tax Attorney, married to Kathleen with whom he has two children and has been a Grosse Pointe Shores resident for 14 years.  His hobbies include swimming and water polo.

 DANIEL T. SCHULTE began serving as a Member of the City Council in April of 2009 and as Mayor Pro-Tem in November of 2011. Dan is an Automotive Marketing and Media Consultant, and is married to Mary Jo with whom he has two children. 

 Alexander Ajlouni, M.D. began serving as City Council Member in November 2011. Alexander is a Pain Management Physician practicing at Providence Hospital with offices in Southfield, Novi and Clinton Township. He is married to Carol and they have four children. He and his family have lived in the Shores since 2004.

 Kay Felt

 Bruce Bisballe began serving on the City Council in November of 2011. He is a Tax Attorney and CPA. Bruce is married to Fran Bachmann and they enjoy gardening and opera. They have been Shores residents since 2002.

 Robert H. Barrette, Jr. began serving as a member of the City Council in November of 2011. Bob is retired from DTE Energy and is married to Martha. They have four adult children.

 Robert E. Gesell began serving as a member of the City Council in November of 2011. Bob is a Transactional Lawyer and is married to Maryann with whom he has three sons. He has been a Grosse Pointe Shores resident for 15 years.
