The Department of Public Works is located behind the Grosse Pointe Shores Municipal Building, 795 Lake Shore Road, and faces Vernier Road.

The Public Works Department's Mission is to provide a friendly and responsive source of information and coordinated services assuring the present and future health, safety, and welfare of the public. With cost effective planning, and implementing services unique to our Village, the Department of Public Works is able to maintain the high quality of existence, recognizing the key to our success is the efficient and motivated efforts of quality individuals.
