  are 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday
The court office is closed daily for lunch between 12:30 - 1:30 p.m.   during that time you may contact the

for any emergency filing or matters that need immediate attention by the court.

WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW BEFORE YOU COME TO COURT

Fines, costs, and other financial obligations imposed by the Court are to be paid at the time of assessment (MCR 1.110) unless otherwise directed by the Court.

No food or beverages are allowed in the Court Room.

All persons entering the Grosse Pointe Shores Division of the Municipal Court are subject to a search of both their person and all belongings at either location.  A walk-through metal detector and a physical inspection by security personnel of purses, handbags, briefcases, etc. will also be conducted. 
**Please note: Court sessions are primarily held in Grosse Pointe Farms at 90 Kerby Road, 2nd Level, Grosse Pointe Farms, MI 48236

Please remember that proper attire is required in the courtroom.  Blue jeans, cut-off shirts, etc are not considered to be proper attire.
